Brewing Tips & Techniques

Perfect Temperature

Brew your coffee between 195°F to 205°F for optimal extraction. Too hot and it becomes bitter, too cold and it's under-extracted.

Brewing Time

For pour-over methods, aim for 3-4 minutes. Espresso should take 25-30 seconds. Adjust based on your taste preferences.

Proper Ratios

Use 1:15 to 1:18 coffee to water ratio. For a strong cup, try 1:15. For lighter flavor, use 1:18. Measure with a scale for consistency.

Water Quality

Use filtered water for the best taste. Hard water can affect extraction and leave mineral deposits in your equipment.

Storage Tips

Store coffee beans in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture. Grind just before brewing for maximum freshness.

Grind Size

Match grind size to your brewing method: coarse for French press, medium for drip, fine for espresso, and extra fine for Turkish.
